Amit Joshi: We chosen Uhlmann due to our stellar reputation in the pharmaceutical packaging industry. Interviewer: Is the line already in production? - If so, can you tell us something about the production data, with what output is packed? OEE? Shift model? How often is set up?
Amit Joshi: Yes, the line is already in production. The production data is very promising; Emcure is achieving an output rate of 15000 units per hour with an Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Based on format size & for Alu-Alu pack output rate is vary. Emcure operates on a Blister pack machine, e.g., three-shift model.
Interviewer: How are operators satisfied with equipment?
Amit Joshi: .The operators are very satisfied with the equipment. They have found it to be user-friendly, efficient, and reliable. The training provided by Uhlmann ensured that our team was well-prepared to handle the new line, and the ongoing support has been excellent. This has resulted in smooth operations and a high level of operator satisfaction.
Interviewer: How was the on-site training provided by Uhlmann India?
Amit Joshi: On-site training, selected team members attended specialized courses at Uhlmann’s Pune office. This training was more intensive and covered advanced topics such as:
